Project51 Productions, the team behind the upcoming Castlevania animated film opened an online blog today to keep fans abreast of the movie's progress.

The film will revolve around the storyline of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and will feature the stylings of comic book writer Warren Ellis with art by the award-winning James Jean.

I'm not entirely sold on how awesome this could possibly be. I heart Castlevania above almost any franchise as a game but the story lines have always been less than compelling so basing a movie on "we have to kill Dracula…again" seems iffy to me. Though I suppose that's where Ellis comes in. To add zee spice.
