Gears of War Sells 2 Millions + Free Content on the Way
Gears of War has managed to sell 2 million copies in just over a month. Quicker than Halo 2 for the original Xbox. A system more people owned at that point than the 360 now. Jeez.
Now I knew the game was being hyped pretty well before release and I thoroughly enjoy the game myself ( though I can barely follow the weak story, but meh, I like exploding crossbow bolts), but 2 million?! A clear front-runner for Game of the Yizzy?
But the Pain Train don't stop there! Behind the scenes VGA reports mention that Epic prez Mike Capps alluded to the fact that downloadable content for Gears has been in the works for some time and when it does surface it may very well be free of charge. Sweet Nelly Olson!
Now if they could just make it so I'm not constantly hiding behind something without meaning to…
