Nintendo today announced a "probe" into the many reports of Wii straps breaking mid-flail causing Wii-motes to go flying, windows to break, fingers to bleed and general household MAYHEM!

Nintendo Prez Satoru Iwata had this to say, "We are investigating. Some people are getting a lot more excited than we'd expected. We need to better communicate to people how to deal with Wii as a new form of entertainment.''

Really? Um, what's to investigate exactly? Communicate better on how to deal with the Wii? Do we need a class or something?

The solution here is two-fold and quite simple: A. Nintendo, make a sturdier/better strap and B. Wii owners, stop freaking the fuck out.
