D3 Publisher will be bringing it's heretofore overseas-only Earth Defense Force series to the US next spring.

An Xbox 360 exclusive, Earth Defense Force 3 (or Earth Defence Force X as it will be known here) features an army of gun-toting humans who find various means to blow away an invading swarm of giant robot insects. The game has been praised as a quality title that comes at wallet-friendly bargain price.

Certainly one to keep an eye on for fan's of blowing up metal bugs.
