Up until now I've abstained from posting anything about PS3 line waiting because I feel that both waiting outside in line for a week for an expensive box and writing about people who do is a waste of everyone's time.

10 people waiting outside a Best Buy in Nebraska? 100 people outside a Circuit City in Georgia? It's cold outside? They have tents? Beef Jerky? Mountain Dew? PSPs? One douche is going to *GASP* sell his on eBay instead of enjoy it with his loving family? WHO CARES?!

The PS3 is going to be around for the next 10 years. And soon there will be plenty to go around. And eventually it will be cheaper. AND have more than a handful of games worth paying 60 bucks for. I have no doubts it will live up to Sony's promises of what it will become but not for another year or so at least. Though I hope to have one before that…

But anyway, this shit below must be posted and is why I am thankful that God gave me the sense to stay home and play Warcraft instead of risk life and limb just to be one of the first to get a PS3. I'll play Resistance soon enough, thank you.

"HARTFORD, Conn. - Two armed thugs tried to rob a line of people waiting for the new PlayStation 3 game system to go on sale early Friday and shot a man who refused to give up his money, authorities said.

In other states, customers pushed and shoved their way to the shelves to get at the limited supply, and in Kentucky, four people were grazed by BBs fired from a passing vehicle as they waited for a Best Buy store to open."
