Halo 3 Demo Soon?
With the PS3 and Wii launching in the US this week, one wonders what Microsoft may have in mind to steal a little thunder aside from Gears of War and Viva Pinata.
Last Friday it was said that Bungie would soon be making an announcement (probably this Friday in one of their weekly web updates) to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Halo. But didn't reveal anything else.
While in all likelyhood the announcement will be a release date for Halo 3 and maybe some screens or video, many are hoping for something a little more tantilizing…like an actual, playable Halo 3 demo.
While it would be asking a lot, it would also make a ton of sense if you think about it:
A. Bungie has supposedly already been testing Halo 3 in and outside of the company so SOMETHING is playable.
and
B. If you go to the store for a PS3 or Wii on launch day, you will probably get turned away empty handed. There are, however, plenty of Xbox 360s that sell for much less than a PS3 and what better way to plop asses (and $$$) in front of a 360 at this point than with the allure of playing even a little Halo 3?! None!
All (or some, rather) shall be revealed this Friday!

Well ms did allow people to actually get to play it a month ago. If they did that i would hands down say MS is the best marketing company EVER.

considering that we don’t really know if anyone has played a single player demo, only multiplayer, the demo, if any, would be a multiplayer demo which would be f-ing sweet.
