Itagaki In Hot Water For Sexual Harrassment

The man responsible for the popular Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive games, Tomonobu Itagaki, is being sued in Japan for sexual harrassment by a former co-worker.

The complaint was first reported on Japanese site, Zakzak.co.jp, but since my Japanese is rustier than a shuriken at the bottom of Lake Biwa, I will refer to the post on Xbox360fanboy.com which had this to say:

"Tomonobu Itagaki, the man behind Xbox hits Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive series, has been formally charger with sexual harassment. According to ZAKZAK, the former employee — she quit on September 10th — claims that she had a physical relationship with Itagaki since 2003 and is asking for the sum of 10 million yen (US $85,000). Itagaki acknowledges the relationship, but claims that it was consensual. Itagaki has reportedly been demoted at Team Ninja, though it is unclear if this was done as punishment or if it was done to downplay his image in court."

Really, this isn't so shocking. First of all, look at him. Second, the dude made games explicity FOR oogling giant bouncing jugs.
