12 years ago perhaps one of the worst movies of all time was released in the form of Street Fighter 2: The Movie. This Jean-Claude turd-machine was not even funny bad, it was just "this is so uncomfortable to watch I think I'd rather see my parents doing it in a tub of mayonnaise" bad. Just to give you an idea, Honda was a fat Somoan camera man and had lines like "I am sumo, brudda!"

Still makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Fast forward 12 years as this week Variety Magazine uncovered a sinister plot by Hyde Park Entertainment to relaunch a film franchise based on the game in 2008.

I have no idea what else these guys have done previously but this can't end well. The guy that is apparently writing the film, Justin Marks, has also written a script for a Volton movie. Ooof.
