The Nikkei Keizai Shimbun reports today that due to "component shortages", Sony's target of 100k PS3 units on launch day for Japan has just been reduced to 80k. 

This also makes us wonder if the US number of 400k will also be reduced as rumored reports from Best Buy moles today say that despite the machine's debut being 2 weeks away, the mega-chain has yet to order any PS3s at all. Yikes!
