For the 7th (!) year in a row, misfortune has befallen the player adorning the cover of the annual armchair QB-a-thon known as Madden.

This year's poor sucker, Shaun Alexander of the Seattle Seahawks, broke his foot in a game against the NY Giants earlier this week.
