A Decade of Nintendo 64
1up has a fun feature up on the Nintendo 64 which celebrates it's 10th birthday this month.
10 YEARS. Jesus H.
I remember being in college and skipping class to rush on over to my local Toys R Us (which I would later work/waste time at) to pick up my pre-ordered N64 with Super Mario 64. I felt guilty because I maxed out my credit card, as I had done a year previously with the Playstation, but damn did I enjoy that thing.
The N64 may not have ever had the library that the PSX had but with amazing games like Mario, Goldeneye, Zelda, Turok, Rogue Squadron, Smash Bros. and even Blast Corps. (remember that?) the N64, it's giant controller and half-pound cartridges were worth every penny.
Take a trip down memory pak lane with us won't you? Check out 1up's retrospective HERE.
