Rockstar’s L.A. Noire Announced
Lishen here, shee…
Rockstar sent word today announcing an all-new partnership with the makers of The Getaway, Team Bondi, to release a brand new title, L.A. Noire.
The title is an "interactive detective story set in the classic noir period of the late 1940’s."
Based on the press release and our over-active imagination, we imagine the title will be something along the lines of Deja Vu'-style sleuthing in an open-ended GTA world complete with a healping dose of Sam Spade / L.A. Confidential chutzpah. A sniveling Peter Lorre stoolie character is a must!
The release states that the game is a "next-generation crime thriller" but does not however say which systems the game will be for or when it will be available.
We should know more about what to expect soon as a full trailer is on the way on October 5th.
