Prince of Persia 4? Splinter Cell 5? UbiSoft: “You Saw Nussing. NUSSSING!”
Apparently someone at Ubisoft managed to post assets on one of their public FTP for many games that are not only nowhere near being available to the public, but several that were no doubt months, if not years from being announced.
Yowza.
Now first of all it doesn't take a genius to figure out that a Prince of Persia 4 or another Splinter Cell would be on the way. But I'm sure this little boner will end up being a lot more headache than Ubi had hoped for going into the Holiday Season.
Here is the list of games that were reportedly on said server:
- Assassins Creed
- Farcry 2
- Farcry PSP
- Farcry Wii
- Lost
- Naruto
- Open Season
- Prince of Persia 4
- Rainbow Six: Vegas
- Rocky PSP
- Splinter Cell 4
- Splinter Cell 5
- Surf's Up
- Star Wars PSP
- Shaun White (Snowboarding game)
- TMNT
- TMNT GBA
The files have thus been removed from Ubi's server and I imagine Ubi is on the case to find anyone who may have foolishly posted any of these files.
