Word came today from Team Xbox that Epic Games will be releasing a special Collector's Edition of Gears of War that will feature some fun little diversions from all the giant creature murdering you will be doing this November.

The set includes:

- A "highly collectible" embossed metal box

- Destroyed Beauty, the Gears of War hardbound art book

- Bonus special features DVD including:

    - An inside look at the making of Gears of War

    - The "Art of Gears of War" trailer

    - Gears of War: The Race to E3

Not sure if it's worth the extra $10 on top of the $60 for the game alone.  Does anyone ever watch all that extra junk anyway? Still nice to have options I suppose.

At any rate, I had not really been very interested in this game up until I got to see it this year at E3 and I'd have to say that this and Lost Planet from Capcom both have me very excited.

There is just something about giant guns and horrible creatures that gets me all riled up.
