Videogamesblogger.com has picked up on a bit of info posted on the IGN boards by an "inside" source who has in the past been spot-on with Wii info regarding the controllers built-in speaker.

“No PSP Price Cut” Says Sony
Despite earlier reports of a possible PSP price drop, a Sony UK spokesperson told GamesIndustry.biz that it ain't happenin' saying "Currently we have no plans to cut the price of the PSP at this time."
The site leans more towards a possible PS2 price decrease instead.

PSP To Possibly Get Cheaper, Used.
CNN is reporting that a price-cut for the PSP may be coming this fall in time for the Holiday$.

Illinois Owes Game Makers $500K. State Fair Ensues As Planned.
It was announced this week that the State of Illinois' attempt to pass a law prohibiting the sale of what it considers "violent" games has been killed.
Judge Mathew Kennelly ruled that the state must now pay the video game industry $510,528.64 in attorney’s fees for it's "unconstitutional effort" to enact the law. […]
