Xbox Live Vision Camera To Ship With TotemBall
GamaSutra, reporting from Microsoft's Gamefest, sends word that the upcoming Xbox Live Vision Camera is set to ship this September and include the gesture-based title 'TotemBall'. The game apparently involves pushing around a totem pole on wheels in order to collect items within a certain amount of time. Sounds…fun?
The joint companies behind the game are UK-based Strange Flavour and Freeverse, with Freeverse having developed the gesture-based iSight game, 'ToySight', for the Mac previously.
The Xbox Live Vision is also reportedly going to be used with Xbox Live Arcade games such as the always riveting 'Uno' (get ready to turn some MAAAAD cards, yo!) with more unnamed titles on the way.
It was also announced that the Activison title 'World Series of Poker' will feature facemapping via Xbox Live Vision.
